- Business Systems Analysis – Working collaboratively with staff, vendors, and other providers on systems design and the feasibility of proposed solutions; performing, documentation, and implementation of new functionality and processes; and identifying potential process improvements using automation and integration
- Systems Administration – Coordinating and performing a wide range of department-specific software installations or upgrades, that may include designing, configuring, and deploying web, database, and application components; working directly with technical resources, end-users, outside departments, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system/networking issues
- Reports and Metrics – Working closely with stakeholders to analyze, create, develop, and manage complex data reports, data-related applications, and dashboards to visualize departmental goals and objectives
- General Administration – Continuous collaboration with stakeholders to ensure system functionality meets the department's business processes and operational procedures; creating detailed project plans and task lists; and performing help desk related duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience in systems analysis and implementation, third-party software integration, project management, and programming
- Excellent business acumen skills and the ability to recommend improvements based on organizational needs and objectives
- Knowledge of relational databases and tools, including SQL server support
- A proven track record of working collaboratively, in a team environment, and cross-training technical staff in areas of responsibility
- A customer-focused orientation with the ability to understand the needs of a diverse user base in order to develop systems and processes that effectively meet their needs
- Effective oral and written communication skills

This employment list may also be used to fill future full-time, part-time, or extra-help (temporary) positions as they occur during the active status of the list. Minimum Qualifications
Education: The equivalent to completion of twelve semesters or eighteen quarter units in information systems, computer science or closely related field; and
Experience: Two years of experience in developing and maintaining information technology systems in a multi-platform information systems environment, including at least one year of experience developing and/or modifying applications.
